The Standard Response Protocol is a set of research-based actions/drills designed to prepare our schools for emergency situations.

One of our safety objectives is for each school to practice the standard response protocol drills periodically throughout each school year. In order for all stakeholders to be trained on the Standard Response Protocol, we work collaboratively with Portland and Gresham Police Departments and other emergency service providers to ensure we are following the same emergency protocols and procedures in our schools.

In order for our emergency response plans to be effective, we must depend on the cooperation and assistance of many people, such as local police, emergency and fire departments.
